RHT (Read Highlighted Text) — listen to selected text
RHT means Read Highlighted Text — the same as listen to selected text. When a visitor highlights a paragraph, quote, or definition, the RHT player appears and speaks that selection with GSpeech AI voices. On supported commercial setups it can also speak a real-time translation of the highlight.
When you activate Cloud for a website, RHT is created and published by default (with Multi-Page). You normally do not need to create or publish it again — just select text on a live page.

Setup
How to use RHT (usually already on)
- Activate Cloud for your website — the RHT widget is created and published by default.
- Confirm the site connection code (or WP / CMS integration) is live.
- Optional: open Widgets → RHT only to change voice / language.
- On the live page, select a sentence or paragraph — the RHT player should appear.
- If you use translation features, verify the spoken language matches the visitor’s target language.
Tips
Best practices
- Tell visitors once — a short “select text to listen” hint improves discovery.
- Pair with Full Player — do not force people to select the entire article.
- Check mobile selection — long-press selection UX differs on phones; test real devices.
- Aliases still apply — brand names in selections use the same pronunciation aliases.
